Sika (Cervus nippon) along with Red Deer are the two species of so called "true deer" the rest of the genus having become extinct. Native to Asia these hardy ungulates have been introduced around the world. A common sight at petting zoos and country parks these large animals make surprisingly high pitch squeaks when curious or excited.

Our replica is of a male in antler. the antlers are colour a dark brown to give the replica a more striking appearance. The cranium without antlers measures 19cm by 14cm by 11cm with antlers the skull takes up 50cm by 45cm by 30cm. Bother the jaw and cranium are included.

This skull is cruelty-free and perfect for naturalists who are concerned about the impact of sourcing skulls for their collection. Our larger prints like this, are printed in various parts and joined together.
