Roe Deer Skull 3D Printed Hand Painted Druid Anatomical Model

from £40.00
The European Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) is common throughout the UK and a likely sight when out walking among the fields and woods of your local nature patch.

This life-sized 3D print is made from recyclable corn-starch PLA plastic and based on a digital scan of an actual male roe deer skull. It makes for a perfect druidic gift for yourself or a special pagan someone. It is fantastically detailed and finished by hand using acrylic paints a great item for display purposes - whether you have in interest in skulls, animal biology, or wish for a folklore dedication to a roe deer in your home.

This skull is cruelty-free and perfect for naturalists who are concerned about the impact of sourcing skulls for their collection. Our roe deer skull is anatomically accurate while having no animal harmed in the process! Measuring around 270mm long from the skull base to the antler tips, it is in one piece (cranium with antlers), printed in three parts. We love watching the local deer where we reside and this item reminds us of those beautiful living animals just over the field.

This is a one of a kind 3D printed skull made with love in our little Chapel, and hand-painted by an artist. The careful printing process we undertake to retain detail takes time, and this roe deer in particular took around 20 hours. The 3D printing textures add to the realism of the skull and create a knitted bone-like texture - which alongside the paint, adds to the rustic realistic feel of the item.

Our skulls are printed, finished, primed, painted, and packaged on-demand, meaning it takes a few days to have your order ready to be sent out to you.
