Horse Cranium and Jaw - 3D Printed Replicas

Horses (Equus caballus) were once a part of everyone's daily life, some 25,000-30,000 horses were ridden everyday about London in the mid-19th century. Long before this horses roamed the broad grasslands of the northern steppe regions, both in Eurasia and North America. Sadly, no lines of undomesticated horse survive today. So useful have horses been to our needs; every population was captured and tamed with the few subspecies of feral horses that roam today being escapees.

For those horse lovers out there who would like to own a cruelty free replica of a horse skull, we have a range of size options. We offer 8% (3.8cm), 12% (6.0cm), 24% (12.0cm), 33% (20.0cm), 50% (30.0cm) and 100% (54.0cm) prints of the life sized adult skull - full sizes are given below. Prints at 12cm and less are done on our resin printer those above printed on our PLA machine.

This skull is cruelty-free and perfect for naturalists who are concerned about the impact of sourcing skulls for their collection. Measurements are given on the variation tabs with all skulls being printed in to parts the cranium and jaw. Our larger prints are printed in various parts and joined together.

The careful printing process we undertake to retain detail takes time, and this particular item takes between 1-300 print hours to produce.
