Anatomical Marten sp. Skull Replica 3D Printed

from £12.50
Found mostly in Scotland Pine Martens are members of the Mustelidae family which includes weasels and stoats. They are omnivores but are formidable predators, equipped with sharp teeth and agile physic.

This skull is tricky to identify, but probably belongs to an American Marten which are slightly larger than their European counterparts. Marten skulls are rare and this specimen shows their long almost snake-like form - perfect for ducking and diving through the undergrowth and small burrows.

This replica is to-scale, anatomically accurate, and cruelty-free. The item is 3D printed in PLA and includes both the cranium and jaw bone. It is fantastically detailed and painted in a naturalistic style. The print shows a complete set of sharp teeth and is a great addition to anyone's collection.

The item is printed, finished, sprayed in an acrylic primer, painted, and carefully packaged for you. Being 3D printed in PLA plastic the replica is relatively environmentally friendly and cruelty-free - perfect for naturalists who are concerned about the impact or sourcing of skulls for their collections.

Skull measurements: 9cm x 5cm x 4.5cm.

This is a one-of-a-kind 3D printed skull made with love in our little Chapel. The careful painting and hand-finishing process we undertake retains detail and gives a beautiful end product - the printing time of the cranium and jaw is around 10 hours.
