A druidic folky gift, printed in decomposable PLA plastic, this full size digital scan of a roe deer skull is a fantastic and detailed item for display purposes - whether you have in interest in skulls, animal biology, or wish for a folklore dedication to a roe deer in your home.
This skull is cruelty free and perfect for naturalists who are concerned about the impact or sourcing of skulls for their collections. Our roe deer skull is anatomically accurate while having no little roe deer harmed in the process! Measuring around 170mm long at the base and printed in three parts this is a large life size item. We love watching the local deer where we reside, and wanted to create something which was respectful and a dedication to their gentle charm.
This is a one of a kind 3D printed skull made with love in our little Chapel, and hand painted by an artist. The careful printing process we undertake to retain detail takes time, and this roe deer in particular took around 20 hours. The 3D printing textures add to the realism of the skull and create a knitted base of the skull, which alongside the paint, adds to the rustic feel of the item.
Printed with decomposable PLA plastic, sprayed with a high quality primer, and painted with acrylic paint. Posted from East Yorkshire.
